The following document describes the Terms of Service and privacy policy for Jeremy Rubin (Jeremy Rubin d/b/a POWSWAP).

To cut through the legalese: POWSWAP is a landing page for experimental peer-to-peer financial software based on Bitcoin. We aren’t currently providing any services whatsoever, but are simply providing basic information on what the technology may be able to accomplish and collecting information from interested users to get feedback as a part of the engineering design process. Well before POWSWAP offers any functionality to users, it will undergo a thorough review of the appropriate compliance needs, legal disclaimers, and procedures required in order for POWSWAP to offer functionality to users.

As of writing, POWSWAP is not offering any functionality or open source financial software. It’s just a fancy web form to gauge interest.

Generally, we don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law. However we do use third-party service providers such as: Amazon Web Services, Google Forms, Google Analytics, Formspree, etc.

Therefore for GDPR compliance please review the policies of these partner websites around retention. If you would like to request your information be removed, please contact us. We will remove records not neccessary or relevant for business within 2 years.

You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
